I don't measure anything as I've mentioned, but this will be close. Obviously, you will need to tweak these according to your taste also.
1 part ground cloves
1 part ground pepper
2 parts cinnamon
2 parts sea salt
3 parts garlic powder
3 parts onion powder
3 parts chili powder
(the darker the better!)
4 parts brown sugar sub
(I used DiabetiSweet)
I rub this into the pork about an hour before I cook it.

Hi Sherry, What cut of pork do you use this on? I love any pork roast I can find. Today I baked mixed pork chops in my homemade barbecue sauce, low carb of course. Yummy although not so syrupy and sweet as the sugared kind.
ReplyDeleteI love any pork I can find also :). I have used it on everything from tenderloins to country ribs and it's always good!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your BBQ Sauce recipe? I like a sweeter sauce, so I make a really easy one with just LC ketchup, brown sugar sub, onion and garlic powders, and liquid smoke. My family LOVES BBQ sauce, and we do almost all of our meat on the grill in the good weather!
